Hike #11: Village Ansouis

Randonnée, déjeuner de Noel le 18 décembre 2018.

Nous vous proposons de faire une balade dans les vignobles autour d’Ansouis.

La randonnée commencera et finira dans le village d'Ansouis. Après une montée d’environ 30 minutes, la promenade sera relativement plate.

Helen nous accueillera au “Domaine du Château St Estève de Néri” pour un repas de Noel.

Si vous souhaitez acheter leur vin la cave sera ouverte après notre déjeuner.

Nous vous proposons de faire un jeu et pour cela il faudra que chacun apporte un cadeau tout emballé d’une valeur inférieure à 10€.

 

Hike, Christmas lunch on the 18^th of December 2018

Let’s go and walk in the vineyards around Ansouis.

The hike will start and finish in the town of Ansouis. After an initial hill climb, it is a relatively flat walk.

Then Helen will welcome us in her beautiful house “Chateau St Estève de Néri” for or Christmas lunch.

If you would like to buy some of her wine, the cave will be open after lunch/meeting.

In addition, each participant should bring a small wrapped present, costing not more than 10€. With these gifts, we’ll play a little game! We have done it before and I promise you it is great fun.

Meeting point: At the start of the hike at 9:45 am.

Hike: GPS Points: 43°44’25.03N—5°27’51.68”E

Directions: From Aix-en-Provence It is about a 40 min drive from CIPEC:  A51/N296 Route de Sisteron. Exit 14 direction Pertuis/D556. After entering Pertuis, go left at the sign panels, heading west. The panels should say Cadenet/Tour d'Aigues. Follow Tour d'Aigues-Villelaure, at the rond point leaving Pertuis, follow direction Villelaure. At the exit of Villelaure, follows signs D37-Ansouis. In Ansouis, you will look for a square with “un monument aux morts” and “un lavoir” near a chapel, park your car there.

In Ansouis, you will look for a square with “un monument aux morts” and “un lavoir” near a chapel. At this point you will see a sign directing you toward Chateau St Esteve de Neri.

Follow the road for about 2km until you see an entry marked by a large hedge and a lone cypress tree on your right. This is the entrance to the Chateau.
