A short easy hike between Luynes, Bouc Bel Air and Gardanne. We will walk along the Vallon de Portalier and through a wooded area to Terre Blanche and then on our return, we will have views over the Pilon du Roi, Mont Ste Victoire and the Gardanne valley(!) As this is a short hike close to Aix, you can either picnic back at the Pavillon de Chasse (picnic tables) or return home..
Une balade courte et facile entre Luynes, Bouc Bel Air et Gardanne. Nous marcherons dans la Vallon de Portalier et puis sous le bois jusqu’à Terre Blanche. Pendant notre retour, nous aurons des vues magnifiques sur le Pilon du Roi, la Mont Ste Victoire et la vallée de Gardanne(!) Cette une randonnée assez courte et vous pouvez déjeuner à la Pavillon de Chasse (tables de pique-nique) ou retournez chez vous.

Directions: From Aix take the A51 towards Marseille and exit at Luynes/Gardanne junction. Continue on the D7 through Luynes. Parking on right hand side after hamlet of Turin, railway bridge and centre de secours (big buildings on left). Parking marked ‘Pavillon de Chasse du Roi René’. GPS: 43.471674N, 5.444973E
