Hike #03: Chemin des Douaniers, Calanque de l’Estaque, Anse de Figuerolles

Nous vous proposons une jolie balade par le chemin des douaniers aux portes de Marseille et du port de l’Estaque. En chemin nous découvrirons les calanques les plus à l’ouest de Marseille (calanque de l’Estable), l’ancienne batterie de Figuerolles… Nous déjeunerons à l’anse de Figuerolles où nous pourrons nous baigner si le temps nous le permet.

Quelques passages un peu exposés sur le sentier de l’allée. Non conseillé aux chiens et aux personnes souffrant de vertige.

 

This will be a beautiful hike which starts on the outskirts of Marseille just outside the port of l’Estaque. We will discover the calanque the furthest west of Marseille (calanque de l’Estable), the old fort of Figuerolles… We will lunch on a pretty beach and if the time permits, we will be able to have a swim.

Some parts of the path are very narrow with dangerous edges. Therefore, it is not recommended for those of you who suffer with vertigo and for the dogs.

Directions: From Aix-en-Provence, take the motorway to Marseille (A51), then the A55 direction Martigues. Exit (7) Gignac-Le Rove at the roundabout take the 3^rd exit direction Le Rove N568, then at next roundabout continue on D568 into Le Rove. Continue for several km and just after the tunnel, turn left onto a car park on roadside (D568) opposite the Café Hotel le Resquiadou. (chemin du Resquiadou).
